William H. Zimmerman, Jr., received his J.D. in 1979 from Creighton University School of Law. He was first admitted to the bar in 1979 in Nebraska and subsequently in 1982 in Kansas. Bill authored a chapter in the Kansas Bar Association Bankruptcy Handbook (2nd edition). He continues to serve as an Adjunct Instructor in Bankruptcy Law at Wichita State University, a position he has held since 1985. Bill is a frequent presenter at continuing education programs on bankruptcy and reorganization topics. He was a Director of the Great Plains Bankruptcy Conference and is a member of the Wichita Bar Association. As a member of the Kansas Bar Association, he served as President of the Corporation, Banking and Business Law Section from 1989-1990. He is also a member of the Nebraska State and American Bar Associations as well as the American Bankruptcy Institute. He is current Chairman of the Bankruptcy Committee of the Wichita Bar Association for 2006-2007.  Bill concentrates his practice in the areas of Bankruptcy; Reorganization and Commercial Law.
